Background Color Change

This image was created for a Comedian to be used as a promo for an upcoming show. I used clipping paths, layers and layer blending modes to change the background colors which can be quickly changed to different color combinations. The background layer is meant to get it a more cartoon like or playful feeling.

I have used this same techinique for a varitey of jobs to drop people who are shot in the studio on white into different backgrounds.

Composite and Caricatures

These are two images I worked while at Rubberball Productions. The first is one of a many that I worked where I composited two images together in Photoshop to create the realistic look that the man is literally crawling on a rat wheel. The Second image is a Caricature. Rubberball is one of the first companies to start creating digital composite caricatures. This caricature that I created in photoshop was done by using five different images and blending them smoothly and realistically into one image creating the 'bobble head' effect.

Logo Removal and Cutting Out Background

This picture is one of many where I removed all the logos from shoes, clothes, guitars, and drums. Also I have cut out the background so it would appear on white. The challenge with his type of image is to realistically remove the logos, while maintaining the tonal shifts and to create natural shadows under each of the objects or people. Click on the before and after for a close up view.
